MARKETING RECOMMENDATIONS

WEBSITE:

  • KEYWORDS equals free traffic. Below are three examples of keywords Blue Bliss Charters should rank for organically on Google. WHY? Because people search for these terms every single month. So create blogs , videos and content around these keywords to get your website ranked on the first page. People will read your articles where you'll have an irrisisiteble offer that they won't want to miss so they'll sign up. By building your list now you can promote directly to them via email, text. Your money is in the list. Make that a priority to get sign ups.

  1. Jupiter Boat Tours 170 searches per month. Presently Blue Bliss Charters is on page 4 of Gooogles search results. Your goal is to be on page 1 in one of the top 3 spots. Start with a blog article and keep adding content around that keyword to Facebook, Google Business Profile, Instagram, Facebook Groups including a link to your website in all posts.

  2. Jupiter Pontoon Boat Rental 30 searches a month. Presently Blue Bliss Charters is on page 2 of Gooogles search results. Create a blog article, a video about this search term then post to social media, anywhere you can and link back to your website.

  3. Sunset Cruise Jupiter 20 searches a month. Presently Blue Bliss Charters is on page 4 of Gooogles search results. Blog, video, intreviews posted on social media linking back to your website.

The goal of ranking your site for specific search terms is to drive traffic to your site. When this happens Google takes note and bumps up your site to the first page. Ideally you want to research keywords/search terms that relate to pontoon cruises. But sometimes it's not even about a boat. It could be different things to do in Jupiter. For example the keyword "outdoor activities near me" get searched 27,100 times per month. Imagine being ranked on the first page for thata keyword boasting how Blue Bliss has one of the best activites in Jupiter. Imagine all the traffic you could drive to your site which ultimately translates into more sales.

  • SIGN UP FORMS add a sign up form to the footer in your website. Entice visitors to sign up to get 10% off their first cruise. Build your list so you can promote direct. Of all the tactics I've learned about marketing the one that they beat you over the head with is to build your list. The money's in the list. Facebook could tank, Google could explode, your website could disappear... but you'll always have your list. That should be priority number one. When I was doing swimming pools on Long Island I made it a point to get emails. By the third season I shut off my ads on Google and Facebook because I had a list that supplied me with enough work for the size of my business.

FACEBOOK:

  • OPTIMIZE Use your Facebook personal profile and business page like a sales funnel and get people to ask questions (engagement), sign up to your newsletter (small act of commitment), buy a cruise (the end goal).

  • THE FIRST PLACE to start is the profile picture and cover photo. Below is what I would recommend for your cover photo on your Blue Bliss Charters Facebook page. Why? If you look at the screenshot of Blus Bliss Charters cover photo on mobile (screenshot below) you'll see it's very busy. You're photo is competeing with several other elements on the page. Adjust the picture and copy to avoid any clash. The simpler the better. Try to say something that gets people dreaming of taking a crusie, a feeling, a moment, an event. If you'd like to use the photo below you can get it here for FREE. (designed in canva)

  • OPTIMIZE DESCRIPTION AREA: In the photos below check out the yellow high lighted area. It's empty. When someone visits your page and clicks on your profile photo or cover photo it opens up to the photos below. Here's an opportunity to add a review, an offer, a link to your site keeping the viewer interested and funneling them into your sales flow.

  • OPTIMIZED EXAMPLE of The Community Coupon's cover photo. In the description I added a simple link to sign up. Easy peasy optimization.

  • UPDATE PAGE BUTTON switch your button from send messge to book online. Send them right to your booking page on your website and under the cruises have a FAQ section. Get them to book online. Use your site to answer their questions and to do 90% of the selling for you so all you need to do is confirm, or reschedule.

THE VIDEO I know you said you weren't crazy about the video. I'd like to add some insight. The addition of crusin jupiter is not a permamnet change to your logo it was an addition for this video (after looking at it I agree it could be removed for a cleaner look)

You mentioned there are no whales in the inlet, I did a quick search and it turns out two years ago a whaleshark was spotted in the inlet by a fisherman. Now are you going to see whales everytime? Probably not but on the cruise you never know what you'll see. For the most part we see turtles, manatees, jellyfish, but everyonce in a while you can see something truly out of this world. It's the anticipation, the dream just like going to the superbowl you dream its going to be the best game ever in all of history. It never really is but you still have an amazing expereience. HYPE IT UP!

MORE SUGGESTIONS:

  • GET VIDEO TESTIMONIALS You have a captive audience on your boat set up the boat with cameras from all angles to create testimonials and promo videos (show people what it looks like from the moment they get on the boat to the moment they step off)

  • WORK WITH OTHER BUSINESSES to create complete packages (prom nights, graduations, restaurants, limos) THE COMPLETE NIGHT OUT... a toast on the water then droped off for dinner at a restaurant then picked up for a moonlight drive. Make it an experience, people buy expereinces, make it complete, all inclusive at a premium price.

  • CREATE EVENTS Here's a few sites that might spark some ideas to create unique boating events...

  • I'D LIKE TO INTERVIEW YOU magazine style then post to the local Facebook Groups. Sample questions below...

  1. What's the strangest thing/event that's happened to you while out cruising?

  2. How many people can you take on a crusie?

  3. Do you need to be a licensed captain?

  4. Do I need to wear a life preserver?

  5. Will I see manatees?

  6. What about sharks?

  7. Do you go in the ocean?

  8. Do you offer food and drinks?

  9. What's the most magical thing you've seen on the water?

  • Jupiter Facebook Group List I've compiled a list of over 20 local Jupiter Facebook groups you can post to. By using this list and setting up a simple content calendar you can easily accomplish the first step in the sales funnel... creating awareness around your business, making sure everyone in Jupiter knows your business. Once people know you then on to step two interest/engagement.

  • Would you be interested in working together to create a promotion offered exclusively for The Jupiter Florida?
